Calm, grounded and leadership‑aware support

I understand the demands, pressures and pace of school leadership because I’ve lived it. Coaching with me is steady, reflective and rooted in the realities of HT/DHT/DSL life.

Specialist in leadership under pressure
You’ll gain practical strategies grounded in neuroscience, emotional regulation and positive psychology — designed for leaders who carry safeguarding, staff decisions and performance responsibilities.

I understand the weight of school leadership

I’ve lived the reality of senior leadership — safeguarding decisions, staff issues, inspections, and the pressure to stay steady for everyone else. This coaching is calm, reflective, and grounded in the real world of HT, DHT, and DSL roles.

Support for leaders under sustained pressure
You’ll develop practical ways to think more clearly under pressure, regulate stress responses, and make confident decisions — without adding more to your workload.

Confidential and independent

This is a safe space outside your school or trust. You can talk openly about challenges, decisions and next steps without judgement or agenda.

Experienced, credible and trusted

I am a former Head Teacher, an NSPCC‑trained supervisor and a registered practitioner across several professional bodies. My work supports leaders across schools, MATs and organisations.

A truly confidential space

This is independent support, outside your school or trust. You can speak openly about challenges, decisions, and next steps — without judgement, reporting, or agenda.

Experienced and trusted

Alongside being a former Headteacher, I’m an NSPCC‑trained supervisor and a registered practitioner across recognised professional bodies. I support leaders across schools, MATs, and education‑facing organisations.

Confidential and independent support — nothing is shared with your school or trust.

How support is usually delivered

Support is shaped around your role, your context, and what you’re carrying right now.
Most leaders work with me in one or more of the following ways.

Leadership coaching (1:1)

Confidential, reflective support for school leaders navigating pressure, complex decisions, and sustained responsibility. Sessions create space to think clearly, regulate stress, and lead with greater confidence.

DSL and safeguarding supervision

Trauma‑informed, reflective supervision for DSLs and safeguarding leads. This support focuses on emotional containment, professional reflection, and reducing the cumulative impact of safeguarding responsibility.

Workshops for schools and MATs

Practical, grounded sessions for staff or leadership teams, covering areas such as wellbeing, mental health, neurodivergence, and trauma‑informed practice, providing a psychologically safe culture.

You don’t need to know which of these is right before getting in touch.
We’ll explore what would be most helpful during a confidential initial conversation.

Ready to talk it through? A calm, confidential first step.

Coaching in Solihull or Online — Flexible Support, wherever you're based.

Coaching is available either in person at my Solihull practice or online. Both options offer the same level of depth, confidentiality and support.

Many school leaders choose online sessions for convenience and privacy, while others prefer the grounding of meeting in person. We’ll use whatever format best fits your role, schedule and circumstances.

Your Questions, Answered

Is the coaching confidential?

Yes. 100%.
Your sessions are completely confidential and are never shared with governors, trusts, colleagues or external agencies. As an NSPCC‑trained supervisor and trauma‑informed professional, I provide a safe, protected space where you can speak openly without fear of judgement or consequence.

Is this therapy?

No — this is trauma‑informed executive coaching, not counselling or therapy.
However, the approach integrates neuroscience, emotional regulation and wellbeing strategies to support you in high‑pressure leadership environments. It helps you think clearly, perform better and feel more grounded.

Can my school or trust pay for this?

Yes.
Most leaders use CPD, wellbeing or leadership development budgets to fund coaching. Many trusts view this as essential support for senior leaders, especially those managing safeguarding, high pressure or career transitions.

Who is this coaching for?

Head Teachers, Deputies, Assistant Heads, DSLs, SENCOs and emerging senior leaders.

It’s suitable if you're:

- overwhelmed or under pressure

- experiencing anxiety or decision fatigue

- preparing for progression

- returning from stress‑related absence

- feeling isolated in senior leadership

- seeking clarity about your career direction

Do I need to be struggling to benefit from coaching?

Not at all.

Many clients are high‑performing leaders who want:

- clearer thinking

- stronger boundaries

- better work–life balance

- improved confidence

- direction for their next career step

The space is for stabilisation and progression.

How many sessions will I need?

Most leaders see meaningful shifts within 4–6 sessions, although some continue longer for deeper leadership development or strategic career work. Weekly or fortnightly sessions are available depending on your needs.

What makes this different from general coaching?

You work with a former Head Teacher, trauma‑informed leadership specialist, NSPCC‑trained supervisor, and Mental Wellbeing Company brand partner.

This means you receive support that is:

- grounded in lived school leadership

- psychologically safe

- evidence‑based

- regulation‑focused

- aligned with the realities of safeguarding, inspections and governance

This is not generic coaching — it is tailored to the emotional and operational demands of senior leadership.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes.
You can work with me in person in Solihull or online via Zoom. Both formats provide the same level of depth, safety and effectiveness. Many school leaders prefer online sessions for ease around their timetable.

Is this suitable if I’m returning from burnout or sickness?

Yes — absolutely.

plan your phased return
